BOOK CLUB
Each month,
September thru May, a current book or timeless classic is discussed.
Third Wednesday at noon.
 CHICK FLICKS
Each month we
meet for lunch and a movie at an area movie theater. Attendees do
not have to see the same movie, or even see a movie at all. Just
join us for lunch and conversation!
Second Friday, year round.
Meeting time for lunch varies depending on movie chosen. Usually around noon.
Theatre location varies, but usually Eden Prairie Center's AMC
Cinemas.
CIVIC
Each year an
event is held whose proceeds are donated to up to three charities.
Past recipients have been: Meals on Wheels, Breast Cancer Research,
Carver-Scott Humane Society, and Cornerstone (battered women’s
shelter).
 GUTHRIE MATINEE
World-renowned
for the stars-in-the-making it employs, the Guthrie puts on original
works and old standbys, but with a twist. Subscription tickets are
purchased in late-April for the next season, but single tickets may
be available.
Ticketed dates. Subscriptions purchased in April for following
season. Substitutes are occasionally needed.
Wednesday matinee
Lunch - 11:00 AM. Carpool – 12 noon. Curtain – 1:00 PM.
MAINLY FOR MEN
The men get
together quarterly for dinner, drinks, and poker. The ladies do
something else, somewhere else.
RUBBER STAMPING
With hundreds of
stamps, reams of colorful papers, and tons of decorations to choose
from, Karen will teach you how to make greeting cards you can’t buy
anywhere! If you want to begin or continue working on your rubber
stamped project,
Karen can make lots of suggestions.
Second Thursday of the month, September thru May, 9:30-11:30 AM.
