General Club Information
Business
Meetings
are held the first Tuesday of each month, August thru May, 9:30 AM, at
Pax Christi Church, 12100 Pioneer Trail, Eden Prairie 55347, in the
Martin Luther King Jr. room #239, unless noted otherwise
in the newsletter. Enter via Door 3, then down the hall to the last
door on your right before the steps.
Welcome Coffees:
Members and Prospective Members are encouraged to attend the
Coffees. 10 am until Noon, Dunn Bros. Coffee shop, Eden Prairie Rd,
Eden Prairie (on Rt. 4, 1/4 mile South of Hwy. 5, 2 miles West of
I-494). Fourth Thursday of each month. November may vary.
Social Meetings
are held the second Tuesday of each month, September thru May. These
monthly luncheons occasionally include a tour or guest speaker.
Activities:
The activities and their chairpersons are listed on the
Board Members page. Click on 'Board Members' in the left column.
Social Events
are open to family members, friends, and out-of-town guests, unless
specified, when accompanied by a member.
Membership:
Membership is required for regular participation in any Club activity.
Prospective Members may attend two Club activities or events before joining. Dues
must be renewed annually to remain in the Club.
Dues:
The Club year is September 1 to August
31. Dues shall be payable on September 1st
and they become delinquent on November 1st if not paid.
Renewing
membership, payable in September: $25.00
Joining
September 1 - December 31: $25.00
Joining January
1 - April 30: $18.75
Joining May 1 –
August 31: $12.50
Directories:
Members in good standing are given access to members' personal
information which is updated as
needed. This information is to be held confidential and strictly for
social purposes relating to the members of Newcomers. The
information is never to be used for personal gain, or for political
or religious beliefs. Member information is not to be given or
loaned to any person or organization outside the Club.
